Trust your gut. Listen to that quiet voice in your spirit. Try scary things. Don't listen to others who question your desire to step out of convention. Keep trying, keep going. Each of us has been given a unique gift and calling - identify it, cultivate it and use it to the benefit of others. That, my friends is the Euforia story.
Did you or do you know what you want to be when you "grow up"? I didn't. A few things were tried and I kind of fell into marketing. Being in the right place at the right time I learned a ton and had some amazing experiences that have served me well. However after 10 or so years it was becoming clear that working in an office and commuting was not the life I ultimately wanted.
During this time a favorite necklace broke. Not ready to stop wearing it and being a do it yourself kind of person a quick trip to the local craft supply store was the start of it all. Fixing that necklace was very satisfying and awoke something in my spirit. What started as a side hustle quickly turned into full time business - scary and wonderful at the same time.
Many of my customers ask where I find my materials. In the early days when I lived in NJ I took the train in to NY to buy and I still source from some of these connections. Later, once I started doing high volume wholesale orders I went to the the big jewelry supply shows in Tuscon and Denver. For a jewelry designer going to these mega bead/gem shows is so inspiring.
